Why?
We believe that when children are given a proper education and a safe environment, they become catalysts for change, improving the quality of life in their families and communities. However, because many Ugandan children live in extreme poverty, simply going to school is a dream that remains out of reach. We also offer boarding for children with difficult home situations or for those who must walk long distances daily to attend school.

How?
DollarsForScholars enables each sponsored child to receive not only a year’s tuition but also a uniform, school supplies, daily nutrition, a mosquito net and health services needed to support their learning.
Primary School:
Tuition: $360 for three terms or $30/month for 12 months
Boarding: $300 for three terms or $25/month for 12 months
Combined T & B: $660 for 3 terms or $55/month for 12 months
Secondary School:
Tuition: $600 for three terms or $50/month for 12 months
Boarding: $300 for three terms or $25/month for 12 months
Combined T & B: $900 for 3 terms or $75/month for 12 months
Post Secondary / University:
Tuition: $1,200 / yr for fees & boarding or $100/mo. for 12 months
As a Sponsor you’ll receive a Welcome Packet containing the child’s profile, yearly photo’s, copies of report cards and letters twice a year.
